How to use SOILIC® and how it penetrates into the tunnels
SOILIC® is a 100% non-toxic product made from
fine-grained clay and water (patentpending).
SOILIC® penetrates deep under the tiles and fills up
ant nests. SOILIC® then solidifies and displaces the
ants and stabilises the tiles, preventing structural
subsidence.
Using SOILIC® is easiest with a 750 ml bottle. 2.5 liters is recommended as a refill but can also be used directly for filling ant tunnels.
How to use the product:
1. SHAKE THE BOTTLE well each time before use so that the fine clay and water mix to a paste-like consistency, ideally for at least 10 seconds.
2. Pour SOILIC® into the gaps between the tiles –
there are usually holes where the ants have pushed
sand onto the tiles.
3. When the SOILIC® solidifies, it will shrink slightly.
So, refill the ant tunnels as needed. Air holes can
also cause SOILIC® to sink after some time. So, refill
as needed.
4. If you find that the ants have subsequently pushed
SOILIC® back onto the tiles, refill with SOILIC®.
5. For the best results, it is important that you
continue to fill the ant tunnels with SOILIC® for as
long as possible.
SOILIC® can also be used to fill already empty ant
nests to prevent tiles from settling unevenly when the
ant nest collapses.
SOILIC® is a 100% natural product consisting of clays
that are already present in our natural environment.
SOILIC® contains natural deposits of potassium,
magnesium and iron.
SOILIC® protects groundwater and biodiversity.
Excess SOILIC® on the tiles can be washed off with
water.
